Summary

This was a small puzzle platformer game I made with two other designers in 48 hours.

The theme of the GameJam was "Can't save them all", so we decided to make a game where you have to save little guys, but to save more little guys, you have to sacrifice some by throwing them to switch levers or to use as steps to reach otherwise non-reachable areas.

My job for this GameJam was to do all the programming and Unity implementation, and some puzzle and level design.

My Tasks and Contributions

Mechanics and Gameplay Design: Together with the team, we brainstormed and designed all gameplay mechanics over the first stage of development.

Level and Puzzle Design: I designed some parts of the level, which were always linked with puzzle design. The level was divided into small sections with one puzzle in each and some platforming elements.

C# Programming and Unity implementation: I programmed all mechanics for the game: Platforming mechanics, picking up and throwing little guys, UI and sounds implementation, win/lose states.
